I'm trying to convert my LP cooking range back to NG but the NG Spuds (orifices - 4 in qty.). Have been discontinued by the mfg. the part # is 814433 (original) or AP3066110 (Parts Pros). Can anyone help me accomplish this retrofit? Many Thanks.
Answer Hello Gary! Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not offer a replacement conversion kit and/or single orifices for your appliance to convert back to NG. Your best bet would be to contact a gas company in your area to see if they may have compatible parts. Sorry!
Looking to convert my Jenn air gas cooktop from propane back to natural gas. Gas orifices are not with cook top, can I get replacements? I found one the (green 54) in stove top. Should have Gr, blk, red, and silver. I know regulator will need to be adjusted back to natural gas.. Can you help with buds?
Answer Dorren, to convert the unit back to NG you'll need to purchase the orifice holders. For the 6.5k burner use part number 7507P238-60, for the 9.1k burner use part number 71002721, for the 10k burner use part number 7507P240-60 and for the 12k burner use part number 71002723. Unfortunately, the 12k orifice holder has been discontinued. I do apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your inquiry.
Diagram on how to install natural gas orfice for model sf387legw and to flip safety valve for natural gas.
Answer Hi Mary. The orifice spuds go on the top burners part # 814433. The broil and the bake orifice hoods need to be changed back from being all turned down to 2 or 2 -1/2 turns open. You need to flip the safety regulator cap over to where it will show the "nat" stamped into the top under the plastic cover cap when done. So someone quickly can tell what gas type is being used by lifting the cap. The black one goes to the Lt. Rear burner valve. The brass color goes to the Lt. Ft. burner Valve. The red orifice goes to the RT. Ft. burner. The silver orifice goes to the Rt. Rear burner valve. Thank You.
