The start button cap fell off of the dryer, I was able to to "poke" in the opening a couple of times to start the cycle and now can't. Can just the start button be replaced or does the entire panel need to be replaced?

Answer Hello Kevin, The start button is made into the control assembly so, unfortunately, yes. The entire control must be replaced to correct the issue. I'm sorry I cannot provide a part number, but the model number you provided was incomplete.

My start button no longer has "spring" tension holding it out from the panel It is as if the spring inside of the button is broken. The dryer still works. I am wondering if the start switch Manufacturer's Number: 8530591 is an actual switch with spring. Or is it just a plastic button? Thank you in advance. Jc
