Where can I find my model number?

When the refrigerator is plugged into a confirmed properly powered outlet nothing occurs including the refrigerator light not illuminating. Is this part the most likely culprit? The power cord is OK. What are the other possible causes for this problem?

Answer Jay, At this point, no the start device is not the issue. If you're sure you have 120 VAC and maintain the power, at the outlet, then your issue is in the wirinng harness. You'll need to check for 120 VAC at the door light switch and the components inside the control panel in the fresh food compartment, and back to the line cord for loose connections, etc. Thanks and Good Luck

Wanted to know how to check the condenser starter (part #:2218853) on my refrigerator, before purchasing a piece that may not be the cause of problem. I plug in the refrigerator the internal bulbs come on but thats all it does. No other sound or movement. Any help would be appreciated. I do have an ohmeter to test with. Thank you.

Answer Hello Papi. Test for power coming to the starter 2225929. Also, from each spade to terminal on the starter, it should read closed. Number 5 and the com spade to the terminals on the back of the starter. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
