My refrigerator quite cooling. I can hear the compressor start and then kick out within seconds. Would the start device combination correct the problem or do you think the compressor is bad?

I bought the relay/overload start device combo and I have a question...There are only 2 visible places on this new start device to attach the wires that are coming from my fridge. Which ones do I use? From the fridge, I have 1 black (or dk blue)wire, and then another clip/connector with a combo of a white and 2 black (or dk blue)wires going to the old relay. The old relay plugged onto 2(bottom) of the 3 posts of the compressor. The top post of the compressor has a black wire connected that goes to the overload. There is also an orange wire going to a connector on the overload and a dk blue wire going to a separate connector on the overload. which ones go where?

I am replacing my original relay and overload with the combo part AP4369220 on my refrigerator. The refrigerator has 5 wires that were connected to the old relay and overload. Can you tell me how do I need to connect those five wires to the 4 connectors on the new combo part. The wires I have on the refrigerator are 1 white, 2 black, 1 blue and 1 grey. Thank you.

Hello! I have the blue and black connected to the overload L as per the original connections and the circuit diagram. I have the other black connected to N and the capacitor is plugged into the bottom two slotted connectors. I forgot to mention in the email that the white and grey are not conencted. The white originally went to the other black that is connected to N and the grey went straight to the capacitor. I have checked the white and it appears that it is connect not to the capacitor but somewhere else. That is why I am asking if it should be connect to the black as it was originally. Be Well, Dave
