My dryer will not start, I push in the start button, no result, I check my circuit breaker it is fine, can you please help me I don't know what wrong. Thanks
Answer Hello Brian. You will need to test the thermal fuse 3392519 and the door switch and see if they are bad. If so, they will prevent the unit from starting. Both should read closed for continuity with the door closed. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
Wen you push the start button it makes a humming noise. The dryer does come's on. It will run for awhile then the dryer shuts off then when you push the start button it does nothing not even hum or buzz.........
Answer Hi T.A. It sounds like a normal aged dryer motor failure. Part # 279827. Make sure that you check the belt by folding it backwards as you will see if the inner ribs have cracked. This will also be the oppertune time to change the belt part # 341241. Make sure that the entire vent system is not kinked or clogged. Make sure the outside vent cap is operating correctly also. Thank You.
