I made a mistake like someone else did on here. I forgot & left the racks in the oven the first time I did the self clean. I wanted to know how to get replacement rack for it & if you have them & if so how much would they cost. I measured them & it came out right at 24 inches wide.

I made the mistake of not removing my oven racks when I did the self cleaning cycle on my oven. The finish baked off of the 2 oven racks. There was quite a smell while the oven was cleaning. My queston is: Even though the racks might not look the best is it still safe to use them while baking in my oven, until I buy new ones?

I am looking for oven racks for an old Magic Chef. Magic Chef is no longer made. I cannot find anybody listing Magic Chef parts. So, I try looking for "generic" oven racks the same size as the Magic Chef racks I have. I figure a "generic" rack the correct size will fit my oven. However, mose of the rack listings for racks do not list the size. I find this on all sites. How am I suppose to find a rack without going through so many contorations and frustrations to do it? Why don't all rack listings specify the size of the rack?

Answer Hello Richard! Unfortunately, if the manufacture does not supply the measurements to the racks, then we would not have this information available. However, searching through racks we have listed there are several different racks with pictures. You can measure the racks that have pictures, with each square in the backdrop being 1". Also, it may help if you have a model number available. This will tell us if the racks themselves are still available, even if the model has been discontinued. Thanks!
