My dishwasher does not clean the top rack, and does a poor job of the bottom one as well, it also seems to me the amount of noise that it makes (e.g the sound of water hitting the dishes and the dishes clinking) is less then it was, any idea what this could be? Also how difficult is it to replace whatever part you may suggest. Thank you in advance for your help.

Answer Hello Ruvane. You will need to check and see if the water level inside the tub is up to the bottom of the heater. If not, you will need to replace the water valve 8531670. These are not hard to change. Disconnect the power and turn the water off. Then remove the toe panel, and unscrew the fill line going to the water valve. Once removed, you will remove the screws holding the valve in place. Unplug the wires going to the valve and remove the hose. Reinstall with the new valve in reverse order. Hope this helps.
How do you remove the sump assembly? Mine doesn't drain, causing the dishes to remain dirty after washing them.

Answer Hello Veritas. You will need to pull the three tabs W10300599 out of the bottom of the sump, and unplug the wires and hoses going to the sump assembly. Once removed, the sump will lift out of the inside of the dishwasher. Hope this helps.
