My dishwasher doesn't fill with water ! Is there an in line water filter ? I checked the float in the front of the dishwasher and it seems to work. The float is attached to a switch the lets the dishwasher know when the water is full. I don't know if the line is clogged or if the switch is back or valve number 12H98 is bad or clogged ? Any suggestions ?

Answer Hi Glen. I then suggest you to shut off the dishwasher water supply. Then get a bucket and remove the water line to the water valve. Then test the water supply by the amount you get in the bucket while you carefully open the water supply valve. If this is good then, carefully look at the wires connected to the water valve so you get your proper voltage to the valve. Check all under the dishwasher wires because "varmits" like to chew, split and short out wires. The water valves today are made out of plastic and dont last too long these days. The valve coils can be open. Also the valve can be permanently clogged. this part # is 99001359. Thank you.
