After you close the door and enter time cook and press start, the interior light flashes on and then quick off. ? The display still reads "press start" but the oven doesn't turn on.

Answer Hi Kathy. Remove the outer cover of the microwave and see if the interlock 8206419 is broke. You can also open and close the door and watch the interlocks work in the unit. If so, you will need to replace the interlock on the unit. If not then you need to see which of the door latch micro switch button itself is being actuated physically correctly on and off as the door opens and closes. Thank You.
My microwave door is not latching to the cabinet of the microwave. I'm assuming it's the support, interlock but how can I be sure?
