None of the elements are working. Everything lights up on the screen as if it's ready to start preheating, but thats all it does. Would the suppersor be the problem?

Answer Hi Drew. Verify w a volt/ohm meter part # TJMA-DM1 that you have the proper 240 Vac at the terminal block part # 8203546. Make sure that you have 120 vac from each side of the terminal block post to the middle (neutral). If you lost a leg, then you need to back up to your house breaker or the plug. Yes, do you have the 240 at L-1 and L-2 at the control board part # 9782437 ? If not then you are mopre then likely seeing the blown open suppressor part # 9755444. One leg of the 240 goes to each bake and broil element from the terminal block. Then as the command is selected, the control relay sends the voltage to the correct element per the oven thermostat (if equiped). Bake element part # 9752294. Broil element part # 9750967. Thank You.
what would cause this to burn up while oven was in self clean mode. large diode in center of board {supressor} was cooked. Was thinking possibly temp. sensing probe or thermostat were not working properly and will test them if possible. Thanks

Answer Craig, The center component is actually a varsitor, it controls the amount of voltage into the control assembly(usually), and the two outside components are "line filters" which help to control possible "EMI" issues and keep the display and control from "scrambling" and malfunctions. Your issue is probably due to a voltage issue or "spike". You'r on the right track, yes check the thermostat(s) for proper operation, and the cooling fan run operation. Also check and insure there are no loose connections at the outlet or terminal block of the range. Good Luck and Thanks
