Would like to replace an element but can't see how to remove/lift up the cook-top. Can you help? Thanks
Answer Hello Big,
Unplug the unit or turn the power off to it. Open the door and look straight up on each end. There are two screws that have to be removed to raise the main top.
1.What would cause the front left burner not to come on? 2. The front right burner comes on for a few seconds than goes off? What parts would I look for to correct these two problems?
You will want to access the control panel and test the switches. You will need to test with the switch on and power to the unit from H1 to H2 on the switches for the left and right front. If there is not 240 vac then the switch is faulty and if there is 240 vac then the element would be the issue.
