My burner gets stuck on high, will the switch fix this?
Answer Hello Dennis. Yes, a new switch should fix this. Thanks.

This is an older stove/range/oven. Double ovens side-by-side.
It has 2 electrical outlets on the front, below the burner control knobs. One outlet is "timed' and one is regular. The regular outlet blew out while I had my coffee pot plugged into it. How do I repair this? The timer quit working at the same time. Is it a fuse? Thanks in advance.

The receptacle for this unit on the regular side is part number WB8X151. Unfortunately we would not be able to advise on the wiring of the unit as we do not have any wiring information. The unit does show that there are fuses in it but unsure what the fuses would be for. You will want to check the fuses to make sure that they are good but it may just be bad receptacle causing the issue.
