No question, just user experience. The replacement suspension kit is Da Bomb! Our washer was so out of balance it sounded like someone was beating it with a hammer. It took about twenty minutes to swap out the rods. We ran a load and the machine now runs just like new. The only addition to the instructions I'd is remove and replace one rod at a time and have two people involved. Excellent product!

What is the part number for the suspension rods for model WTW6600SB2? I have had this washing machine for a few years and I did some research on UL error and I am going to attempt to replace the rods myself.

Latest Questions

I have a Whirlpool Cabrio and when it is in the last spin cycle in regular wash it gives the UL code (when 12 minutes left) . However, if i use the heavy cycle there is no problem. Has anyone had this happen to them? I had a repair man here today and he told me it is the bearings and I need to junk the machine, I am wondering If the bearings are bad how does it work on another cycle without error codes?

We replaced the suspension kit and its still acting the same goes unbalanced after 11 or 9 minutes I suspicion that its the panel as when we push drain and spin to try and get the clothes wrung out it starts filling again? Any help would be appreciated its less than five years old! Thanks!

Ok you already told me what replacement rods to order. Next question. Is there a quick fix until I get them. I opened the lid and took out one of the rods to get a look at it and to clean it off. After doing so I returned the rod to its correct position and closed the lid. Then I placed the machine on Drain & Spin, and pressed start. Now it will run for a minute or two and go back to UL error. I used to keep trying over and over and it would eventually run all the way through. Now it is not. Is there anything I can do while waiting, instead of going out to do laundry?
