Mfg number 1315905WW My order 3833269 The part I ordered AP3132744 Replacing refrig door light switch. Your video shows knobs that pull out. My Amana has slide bars for controls. They don't pull out. There are only two screws visible that come out. It appears that their is a wire that acts like a hinge on the back side of roof in frig. How do I access the light switch?

I pulled the door switch and found 110 vac on one terminal, voltage goes through switch, but doesn't go to module plug in ceiling of bow where Temp. Control Board plugs in. No clue how a wire in the fridge can just go bad. It all started when I opened the fridge, light flickered and heard what sounded like a relay clicking. Closed the door switch and it all stopped. Now no lights come on when you open the door, but fridge seems to be operating properly. Now I'm really confused.

Our dishwasher won't start anymore unless we put a 9 volt battery on it's side with a shim underneath it, under the latch. Everything is sounding like it's catching when we shut the door, but it won't run unless we use the battery and shim. What part would we need?
