Navy Guy for Model Number RCC3024RB02
Answer Hello Navy Guy. Test for power to the switch. If there is power there, and the switch does not transfer the power, you will need to replace the switch. If there is no power, go to the switch in front of the wire lead and see if you are dropping power there. If so, replace that switch. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
I have a right rear burner that is a dual burner. The replacement switch did not come with any paper work and the back of the new switch that I ordered only has 5 places for wire connections and the old one has 6. It dont look like I am getting the correct switch for the job.
Bobby for Model Number rcc3024r
Answer Hi Bobby. The Rt. Rear burner has one of the violet wire's going to the P-terminal. Then the other violet wire goes to the 1-B on the burner sensor terminal. The Red wire goes to the switch L-2 terminal. The Black wire goes to the 2-B sensor terminal. the white wire goes from the sensor 1-A terminal to the one 1800w terminals. The other burner terminal is a Blu/Blk wire that goes from it to the H-1 switch terminal. The Blue wire goes to the H-2 switch terminal then to the burner sensor 2-A terminal. The correct amperage rating of the switch is part # 3191050. Please call A.P.P. Customer Service @ 1-877-477-7278. Thank You.
