The right front dual element operates only on the outer element; the inner element won't heat. The burner indicator light turns on for both the hi and low settings. How do I check to see if the problem is the element or the infinite switch?

Both my front dual burners are acting up. Sometimes work fine and other times only work on high. Sometimes they turn on and then shut off. I have read through the other inquiries and would like to find out more how to test the switch with the Mulit metre?

Latest Questions

Hi, both burners on the right side of my electric range are giving problems. The single burner does not heat at all. The dual burner burns on dual high regardless of how the burner knob is set. I'm thinking the dual burner may need a control switch but i'm not sure about the single burner. The elements on both burners and the connections look good. Thanks for your help.

The right front burner element seems to be stuck on max heat whether or not we have the dial on low or high. This is a dual burner which accommodates both smaller and larger pots/pans. This condition occurs using the single or dual cooking mode.

I have the dual element with only the outside one working. I saw from your other questions that the same happened to another customer of yours. Your answer said that you suggest testing the Infinite Control switch. Can you send me the same instructions on how to test to see if this is the defective part. Thanks, Andre
