Hi, I have a 110.88752793 washer/dryer stack combo. My washer is not working and I think it due to that switch that the lid is supposed to hit. My washer will fill but will not spin and continue washing with the lid closed. If I manually use a stick and push in on the switch, it'll start up fine, but the lid by itself won't work. It needs about 1/4" more length than the length of the lid plastic thing that pushes it down. How do I get access to the switch?

Lid switch looks to be loose. I have jammed a screwdriver in it to finish current load. Can I reattach it or do I need a new one?

We have a stack combo unit (YLTE5243DQ3) and the washing machine has stopped draining. It appears the lid switch has come loose which is causing the unit not to drain. If I take a screw drive and depress the lid switch the machine drains. I do not know how to reattached the switch, can you provide some instructions on how to do this? Thanks MJH

Hello there. We have a 7 year old Whirlpool Heavy Duty Twin LTE5343DQ3 model washer/dryer combo. The washer washes fine but the clothes are still very wet/damp when the spin cycle finishes. A small bit of water is left at the bottom of the bin. Any ideas of what could be the problem here? I will order from your site. Thanks.
