In getting E1-F2-error what's that mean?
Answer Hi Alfredo, I could not get a valid hit on your model number but the code usally indicates "Keypad cable unplugged". Check the keypad connector for a firm connection (keypad connects to control board). Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad on control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock). Hope this helps!
I am getting a E1 -F2- error.
Answer Hello Alfredo,
We will need your model number to help you with this. Please post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx
I had the exact same problem as above. I checked another supplier who said the Manufacturer discontinued this item. Was the issue above ever solved? I replaced the Control Board and the 2nd Switch Membrane (under Warranty) and there is no response. Thanks for responding.
Answer Hello BiziMan. Yes, the issue was that the ribbon cable for the membrane 8272702 was not properly seated and was causing the buttons not to work properly. Once the ribbon cable was removed, reseated, and locked down on the control board, the unit worked properly. The PF was cleared by pressing the cancel/off button on the unit. Thank you!
