My door will not latch. I opened the door to use the oven but when I shut it it would not latch. I can hold the door shut and it works fine. I bought this 2 years ago at sears. Can you give me some advice as to what my problem is?

Answer Hello David. Check and see if the latch locks in the door move up and down with tension. If not, you will need to replace the door assembly DE94-01398D. The manufacture does not sell the parts separately. If it is good, you will need to remove the over cover off the microwave and check the latch housing DE66-00168A and see if it is broke.
