Answer Hello, The orange wire on this switch connects to the timer. It controls the slow speed for the motor, and the neutral interrupter. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Charles, Based on information provided it appears that your timer 207373 is defective and will need to be replaced. 

Stan for Model Number LAT9606GGE

Answer Stan, Let's try this, TYhe information we have here indicates: the Yellow wire will attach to the lower BK terminal. The Green or Purple wire will attach tto the unmarked terminal below/beside the BK terminal. The Red wire will attach to the lower RD terminal. The Orange wire will attach to the lowerYL terminal. The White wire will attach to the lower WH terminal. the Black wire will attach to the unmarked terminal above or beside the YL terminalThe OR and BR terminals will not have any of the motor interior wiring attached to them.
