Stumped,..washer does not drain completely, requires resetting timer to spin second time to drain completely. Have replaced drive belt, pump and motor tension spring, all lines clear, no leaks,...same issue. Have read your repair help, assume next step is timer? Water level switch? Any advice/tips appreciated before I go broke buying parts. Thanks
Answer Hello Mark,
Make sure the unit is leveled and cannot rock. Insure the center pulley is not contacting the floor. Replace the thrust bearing kit if there is no rough feel or sound when turning the drum manually. If there is a roar during spin, the issue can be the tub bearing and seal kit. Be sure to check the lower spin bearing for noise also. The thrust bearing kit 12002213 is the part of the machine that releases the brake for the spin cycle so it is a common part to fail.

On the cold water cycle (haven't tried any other cycle), my machine runs cold water continuously, but the tub never fills. The water just drains right back out. Might the problem be the pressure switch?
Answer Hello Jeff,
This sounds like a siphon situation. You need to insure that the drain line is at least as high as the main top of the unit. If it is, you need to make sure the drain line is not taped or sealed to the standpipe. To answer your question, the pressure switch can in no way cause this problem.
