The pressure switch 8542575 (original part 8268477) is mechanically just connected to the drain hose. When I measure continuity I just get and open circuit. Is this correct ?? If yes, then this is some kind of flow sensor (not a switch) Please explain

I just replaced the Motor/Sump Assembly and I now have a leak that appears to be coming from the soil sensor pressure switch. Is it common for the "O" ring inside the switch assembly to fail causing this leak? I cleaned debris from inside the switch and around the "O" ring and checked the drain and water inlet connections.

It is sometimes called a soil sensing switch and also pressurizes the water through the spray arms. Same question - where is it located on the machine? Thanks
