start/buzzer switch- buzzer stays on when turned on, timer advance motor runs constantly through cycles...swith bad? have replaced timer already since it went bad recently
Ron for Model Number 97374200 73742
Answer Ron, Did you check and make sure you attached the buzzer wires to the correct timer terminals ? Yes check the start switch for a "momentary" closed circuit, when the button is pressed, or replace the switch. The alternative would be, a faulty motor circuit or white(N) wire to or from the motor and timer. Thanks and Good Luck
Dryer won't shut off, after the door is shut.

Answer Linda, A bad or "sticky" start switch 3395385 could be the problem, but not likely. It's only a momentary switch, and is on the neutral side of the circuit. Have you run the dryer on the "timed dry" selection, and did it "shut off" ? At this point, the more likely issue would be a bad door switch 279347 or timer assembly 3398190 Good Luck.
