The light switch for this hood (883278)per Whirlpool is no longer a good switch and has been replaced by 883340 says Whirlpool. I have had a appliance man try to install 883340. The first switch he brought (883340), the shaft was to big to fit in the hole so the thought was they sent the wrong switch. He connected the wiring but the switch only turned the light on for the first position but not the nightlight position. He thenordered a second time and the same thing happened as the first. Also if the switch did work, the hole that it goes thru in the hood would have to be made bigger and made to install the horizontaly for the knob to line up with the graphics(off,on,night light) which would almost be impossible!!!!! What do I need to do to make 883340 because nobody has the right switch anymore(883278).Thank you fo any help you can give me. Gary Anderson
