My broiler coil does not shut off completely. Is this the correct part for this problem? Since the part is no longer available, and this is the part I need, is there a substitute available?

Answer Hi Robert. There is a lower oven selector switch part # 71001127 thaqt is still available. The oven thermostat part # 71001138 is no longer available. Is it possible that the broil element shorted to ground and allowing the half of the powert to the element to energise the element part # Y04100514? I would use a volt/ohm meter part # TJMA-DM1 to assist. you in your diagnosis. Thank You.
