The unit has power and can hear the solenoid calling for water. No water. Water line is open to the unit. Unit will not drain either. Can hear drain switch being powered also. The unit has set dirty and clogged for a few months.

Dishwasher won't drain.... Pump spins when power is applied via controller (cancel is pressed, pump spins for several seconds). Drain is clear, unobstructed, and attached (unit has worked trouble free for past year or so) All controls seem to be working, will complete cycle up to the draining portion without issue Would the float switch or the sensor be the problem, is there a way to test this without replacing parts?
