Dehumidifier works ok, but will not shut off. Is replacing this switch the answer or what part needs to be replaced ?

Answer Hi Dan. This bucket switch part # 1186481 is when the unit is full of evaporated drain water and the bucket float will shut off the unit. The main control part # 1187912 turns the unit on and off. Thank You.
