Maytag washer no water has water throw hoses. Start washer starts to agitate no water will spin .Pressure Switch?
Answer Hello John. It sounds like the pressure hose is clogged or the pressure switch is bad. Blow through the hose to make sure it is clear.
Washer overflows when filling regardless of the water level setting. Do I need a switch-WI from the parts list or is there some other sensor I need?
Thanks for your help
Answer Steve, it could either be the water level switch W10231402 or the water inlet valve W10144820. An easy way to test to see which part is bad you can start the washer and remove the power to it. If it continues to overfill you'll need to replace the inlet valve. If it stops filling you'll need to check to make sure the hose running from the tub to the pressure switch isn't kinked or clogged and replace the water level switch. Hope this helps you. Thanks.
