Answer Chris, It is a possibility that there is a bad wire in the unit that would cause parts to short out. The timer failing could have also caused the pressure switch to fail.

Answer Jeff, The water level switch W10337781 , could still be at fault, But before you replace it, disconnect the air tube from the switch and blow in the end of the tube, this may clear any debris or deposits that may have formed in the tube and would cause the washer to overfill.

Answer Hello Scott. Try blowing through the pressure hose and see if the unit fills properly. If not, replace the pressure switch W10337781.

Answer Hello Suzy, The manufacturer had some issues with the old hoses. It is highly recommended to use the new hose. The manufacturer is not going to include a part that cost them money to produce and ship if it is not a necessary part of the repair.
