For checking the pins 21 and 22,are they labeled as such? Also is the part for the whirlpool duet the same as for the Epic? We have FH code, replaced flowmeter, now may try the pressure switch, but would like to do the test. When you say open or closed, will we know right away just by looking? Is there a detailed picture of the pins we need to check? THANK YOU!!!

Answer Hello Kim. They should be labled. You can test these with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. You will be looking for closed continuity across pins 21 and 22. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Pas. You can check across pins 21 and 22 and see if they are closed, when the machine is empty. If they are open, the switch is bad. Hope this helps.

How do I install the water level presure switch? It did not come with installation instructions.

Answer Hello Mark. You will need to remove the top panel of the machine. Then unplug the wires and hose going to the old switch. Twist the old switch and remove. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.

I have replaced both the flow meter and then after asking about my situation replaced the level/pressure switch. The diagnostic test still shuts down the machine during or at the end of c03. A load of laundry also still causes an "F-20" error msg. What else could be causing the f-20 and the shut down during the c03 filling part of the test?

Answer Jeff, You will want to check the screens of the water valve to make sure that they are not plugged up. Check to make sure that the unit is not siphoning which you would want to make sure that the drain is not too far into the standpipe. Also check to make sure that you are getting power to the water valve to activate fill. If all of this checks ok with the installation of a new pressure switch and flow meter then the only other cause would be a bad control board.

My problem is the machine stopped draining and when I look at the front the machine, it is full with water.

Answer Hello Michael. If there is power to the pump motor, and it does not drain and is not clogged, you will need to order and replace the drain motor on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
