Have installed the membrane -broiler works, but cannot get oven (bake) to funtion. We push bake @350 and broiler gets hot, but lower oven element will not heat up please help !!! My wife needs to bake....
You will want to test for voltage at the control board. Check to make sure that there is 240 vac from L1 to Bake when set for the bake cycle. Also if you had to remove the wiring from the control board the double check to make sure that you did not reverse the wires for bake to broil.
part number w10207932 can it replace part number w10207930? Why so much cheaper?
Answer Hello Steve. If you need a off white color membrane you would order bisque part number W10207932. Part number W10207930 is white, thanks!
I've ordered a new touchpad for my whirlpool gas range. Do you have instructions for installing it? Thanks.
Answer Bruno, Here you go,: 1. Turn off the gas supply and electrical power to the range. 2. Remove the grates and burner caps. 3. Remove the knobs from the controls.4. Unsnap the two clips at the inner control locations and lift the front edge of the control panel glass, then slide the top edge of the glass out of the control panel flange, and remove it.5. To remove the electronic oven control: a) Remove the two screws from the bezel and window and remove them from the control panel. b) Remove the two screws from the bracket, lift the electronic oven control assembly off the control panel, and rotate it back so you can access the connectors. c) Disconnect the three connectors from the electronic oven control. 6. To remove the control panel: a) Remove the ten (10) screws (5 on each side), and the two side screws in the end caps, from the control panel. b) Open the oven door and remove the three screws holding the bottom of the
control panel to the range. c) Remove the control panel from the range by pulling it forward and lifting it at the front. d) To remove an end cap, remove the two mounting screws (1 top & 1 bottom). Good Luck and Thanks
