Tryed to pull the ribbon connector off of the main control board and it was very difficul, would not move, was afraid to force it, did not want to damage,break the board. Is there a secret to get this off? should it just pull up straight? can it be rocked side to side? or is there a tool needed? KUDI01ILWH3

Answer Hello Carley, This ribbon cable should have a locking tab in the middle of the ribbon cable. Depressing the small tab will allow the ribbon cable to come out.

I did find the 2nd door switch, if all the lights work when pushed on and the cancel buttom works and you can hear the pump turn on,but the start button does not turn it on, does that say that the two switches are OK and it says more that it is the touch pad. Thank You

Answer Hello Carley. Yes, if the switches are testing good, then you will need to replace the touch pad on the unit.

Answer Hello Carley. Make sure the door switches are good and if so, it sounds like the control panel 8531249 may be the issue with the unit. If the start button is bad, you will need to replace the control panel.
