When I start the machine cycle it automatically begins filling water, agitating, and also drains( like on spin cycle). All at the same time. Anthony for Model Number kenmore 800 topload washer. I was told changing the sensor switch(W10248240) would correct this problem. True??

The washer first wound up not letting water in. Turned Off Hot water, now it will not fill on the rinse cycle, we have to lift the lid to make it fill. I was told it might be the temp. control switch.

Our washer starts agitating when I start it before it starts to fill. It will start spraying in water if I let it go. Then at the end of the spin it sprays in water before the end. It seems out of sync. Is there anything I can do to test and narrow down the bad part? It's happened before and after awhile it will start working correctly.
