I have a maytag centennial mvwc6esww1 top loading washer. Last weekend it seems like the cycles don't line up with the knob. When I start the washer, instead of water first starting to fill and agitating shortly thereafter, they both occur upon start. Then after the spin cycle, the washer adds some water thus the laundry is soaking wet when the cycle is done. Seems like the water added in the end should have been at the beginning of the cycle...make sense?

Washer won't fill with water using any temperature during Wash/Rinse Cycle. Also, it Spins at the beginning of the Rinse Cycle but won't Fill. Already cleared pressure tube and I don't have power going to the Inlet Valve. Therefore, how do I check AC Voltage on the Wire Harness that connects to the Auto Load Sensor Switch (include part number) to see if I have power coming from the Timer?

Latest Questions

I have a whirlpool load sensing washing machine that is only 2 years old and is now overfilling. It is like it no longer senses the weight of the load and just fills the basket to the point of overflow. Water all over the Kitchen. on the Quick wash cycle it sometimes does not overfill. I believe the part I need to replace is the Water level & temp controller part #W10248240. I wish to know if that is the correct part for the problem or if not, what I need to do to repair my washer.

The water temp control does not switch to hot although you can with your hand tap it and it will switch to hot, but will not switch back to cold for the rinse.
