The dryer stops working and I can unplug the cord and wait a few minutes and it will start back up. A tech said it was the main power board but I replaced it and it does the same thing. I put the original one back in. I was checking the continuity of the cord and then from the block to the board. When I check the ground or the power on the power on the right I am getting some continuity across those 2 terminals. When the dryer is running it is acting erratic ie end of cycle buzzer going off continuiously. Will the bleeding across the block cause this?

Trying to fix dryer for my sister in law. She says its spins but does not heat up. I looked at heating element but it looks ok. Then I found the red wire that is connected to the thermal block was a little "crispy" and where it connects to the thermal block was melted. If I replace the thermal block and rewire where it is burned do you think this will fix the dryer, and will it be safe? I'm thinking she did not have the wires tightened down correctly. Thank you!
