Most Interesting

After doing an oven self-clean, the oven no longer heats up, either the bake element or the broil element and the oven no longer heats up when trying to do another self-clean. The control panel seems to work OK, just no heating of any of the elements.

I replaced the thermal overload on the oven, and now the heating element and broiler work (they previously were not after using the self clean function). However, now the control board is not functioning properly. The bake element button will not go above 350 degrees. Whether you push the up or own portion, the degrees only go down. Same with the hour button. The minute button seems to work just fine, any ideas?

This is a microwave/oven combo. The microwave just started showing the following symptoms: when I start the microwave lights come on etc., however it does NOT warm up or heat food, plus there is a kind of burning rubber/plastic smell. I am thinking it could be the thermostat and/or cooling fan motor type of thing. Any comments, suggestions?

Latest Questions

After replacing the bake element, then the control panel, there is 120vac on the wire connected to the thermal overload, but no 120vac on the bake element wire connected to the control panel. I isolated both bake element wires...continuity on both. What's next to fix the bake element not heating problem?

After sparks and separation of the baking element, I replaced the baking element. Now no bake heat. Broil element and control panel OK. New bake element continuity OK. Thermal fuse tested 20+ ohms. What else could be the problem? Thanks.
