The temp fluctuates in freezer side, ice cycles forming, heater good, stat tested good. Is this part located around the evaporator stem? Thanks!
Answer Hello Michael. If there is ice cycles forming inside the freezer, it sounds like the freezer door is not closing good or the gasket 67001468 is bad and will need to be replaced.
freezer temp won't go below 20oF fridge side is seems ok at 38 , also have a problem with icycles forming from time to time in freezer comparment? Had ice forming on and around motor fan, but now since the temp does not drop ice is not forming.?
Answer CG, You most likely have an issue with the defrost circuit or drip pan. This creates an airflow issue and the freezer has a cooling issue. This is a pretty involved check and repair. We'll send you some information that should be helpful.
To troubleshoot this item I would like to know the OHM value range, to see if it is bad and if I need to order a new one from you.
Answer Joe, Based on several cross referenced models, you forgot to list a model number, the service manual or tech data sheet does not list a thermistor reference chart, You will need to conduct the diagnostic tests through the control board to test the thermistor for a pass or fail and the registerring temperature. You can find the tech data sheet up in the compressor compartment, or we can supply you with a tech data test sheet if you supply us with an email address and model number. Thanks
