I would like to know if this part is basically the same part as AP3884330? I order the parts and my husband puts them on. Need to make sure as I'm all about saving money.

Machine was making ice fine then just stopped. All pumps are working, water gets to freeze grid, but does not release ice, then starts a new cycle. I ran a clean cycle, it ran for about 3 hours and green light never stopped flashing, now all I have is the red light. any suggestions?

My Stand alone ice maker is not producing ice. When first turn it on it fills the reservoir with water. it is then suppose to rinse cycle and then go into producing ice. The water doesn't get pumped out of the reservoir for the rinse cycle. When it enters the ice making stage it fills the reservoir again causing it to overflow. Looks like the water is not getting pumped out of the reservoir to make the ice. Wondering if it may be a bad pump or timer or thermostat and how to tell? Thanks
