Machine was making ice fine then just stopped. All pumps are working, water gets to freeze grid, but does not release ice, then starts a new cycle. I ran a clean cycle, it ran for about 3 hours and green light never stopped flashing, now all I have is the red light. any suggestions?

My Stand alone ice maker is not producing ice. When first turn it on it fills the reservoir with water. it is then suppose to rinse cycle and then go into producing ice. The water doesn't get pumped out of the reservoir for the rinse cycle. When it enters the ice making stage it fills the reservoir again causing it to overflow. Looks like the water is not getting pumped out of the reservoir to make the ice. Wondering if it may be a bad pump or timer or thermostat and how to tell? Thanks

I have a stand alone whirlpool ice maker that is producing too much ice. My thought was maybe I have a faulty ice level sensor harness and the online rep suggested the thermistor (#AP3861744) could be the problem. It looks simple enough to replace but is this most likely the problem? Thanks for your help.

Evaporator doesn't release ice, just gets thicker. Don't know what controls ice thickness or the process. Thermistor? Sears (Kenmore) stand alone model # 106-89582702

I initially had pump problems and have replaced both of the recirculation and reservoir drain pumps and the level sensor (since I was in there), but still have issues. The ice maker will start up, cycle by filling the reservoir and emptying it, then will make the first slab of ice. After that first slab slides out it is like it wants to start the second cycle, but it can't. It overfills the reservoir and won't stop until it kicks itself out, interior light goes out and control panel shuts off, like it shorts out? How can it do the first cycle make the first slab, then have trouble? Stepping through the diagnostics they stop at the Compressor and Condensor Fan Motor; however, it already made a slab of ice, so how can the compressor or condenser fan motor be an issue?
