What is the appropriate resistance range for this thermistor? Buried in frost I found it at 2.1kOhm. Would this be correct?
The resistance of the thermistor sitting in frost should have a resistance reading of approximately 22.7K ohms. This thermistor would be faulty and would need to be replaced.
Refrigerator freezes food in the fresh food section. I turned it off and reset the temperature control. Could this correct this problem?
Answer Hello Larry,
Unplugging this control will not reset it. This control W10392194 acts as the defrost control and the temperature control. It is the most likely cause of the issue if no frost build-up is in the ducts between the fresh food compartment and the freezer compartment.
