Gas dryer ignites then flame kicks out.
Answer David, Try disconnecting the dryer exhaust vent from the back of the dryer and run the dryer for a few minutes(10 - 15) to see what occurs, you may have a clogged or restricted vent system and the dryer is cycling the hi limit thermostat and causing the flame to shut down early. Thanks and Good Luck
Takes long time to dry.
Answer Hello Sam. It sounds like the venting system is clogged or kinked. You will need to check the vent and clean it out. Be sure and clean the vent pipe and the dryer air duct assembly. If the air flow is not good, the unit will retain moist air causing the clothes not to dry. Try running the unit with the vent unhooked from the back of the dryer and see if the dryer works properly. Hope this helps.
