The diode is new, the capacitors test sat. The unit powers up and asks normally when hitting an auto button (Popcorn/beverage) but doesn't heat. When inputting a time, say 20 sec, it immediately blows the fuse. Note: it's not getting power to the transformer when unit running as above, (Not heating), but cant tell when direct time input due to fuse blowing.
What can I check now? And does it look like to control panel may be at fault?

Answer Hi Art. You are on the right track. Use the wiring diagram to test the control board output to the transformer. If you do not get the 120 vac then the control board is part # 8183726. If it does not heat if you have the 120 vac, then you need to discharge the capacitor or stay totally away from it. It is lethal. Discharge it by using a good rubber handle needle nose to touch both cap. terminals over and over shorting them out together. Then remove the magnetron and see if the tip is burnt half off or the magnet rings are cracked. Magnetron part # W10245183. Thank You.
