The water line that fills the ice maker freezes. I move the defrost timer to defrost and use a hair dryer to melt the frozen line. The ice maker then runs for some time before refreezing. About 1.5 years ago I did replace the defrost timer.

Answer Hello John, With the issue of the water fill tube for the icemaker freezing it would be caused by slow water flow or seeping water valve 4318046. The water valve would be the most likely suspect.
