Just replaced the thermostat on our Maytag and the machine works great! However the end of cycle buzzer no longer functions. I don't know where this part is or what it looks. Thanks for your help.

Hello, I have a similar situation as a question posed. The dryer when set for moisture level runs continuously, whereas the timer setting works. From your answer, it appears it may be the thermostat. Is that correct? If so, it is the Thermostat net AP4037199 (item 8) or the Hi Limit thermostat AP4036956 (item 17), or is there a moisture sensor of some sort? The dryer does heat up and run. Thank you.

I cannot get the cloths to get dry. The flame comes on on the burner, but runs for 10 to 15 seconds and it shuts off. The vent is clean and I have tryed to running it with the vent disconnected and it still does the same thing. I have replaced the High limit thermostat. What else can I do?
