How can I test thermostat? It takes for ever to bake anything.

Answer Hello Larry. Check and make sure the burner is lighting properly every time the igniter comes on. If so, then you will need to replace the thermostat 3195211. However, if the igniter comes on and it takes a long time for the burner to lite, you may have a weak igniter 3186491 and the igniter will need to be replaced. There is no way of testing the thermostat other than the temperature inside the oven. Checking to see if it reaches the correct temperature and maintains it. Hope this helps.
