We just replaced the thermostat less than a year ago on this oven and it's doing the same thing again: the bake element does not heat. I've never had to replace thermostats so often. Could we have gotten a bad one???
Answer Hello Robert. Few things to check first. Make sure the element is good on the unit. If the element is good, then check for a wiring issue or bad connections. If that is good also, and there is no power to the element from the thermostat, you will need to order and replace the thermostat on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
