Whirlpool Model EL7ATRRMS05 sidekick refrigerator about 10 years old. Recently had drier and refrigerant replaced, since then it cools very well, but the compressor and inside fan seem to run all the time and the inside temperature stays just above freezing regardless of where the temperature control knob is set except for the off position. The door seals appear to be properly sealing. Do these symptoms indicate a bad temp control unit? If so, can you suggest any special tips and/or instructions for replacing the temp control? On a sidekick refrigerator, does the temp control capillary tube simply thread down into a cavity in the side of the refrigerator?

The refrigerator has this drastic temperature fluctuation of between 29.5° and 51°. The fluctuation does not last a along time in fact you can watch it change. The compressor seem to be working fine and no frost build up on the evaporator coil. I have played with the thermostat and I have made it colder and warmer but it continues to fluctuate. I think maybe the thermostat, but could it be something else?
