Washing machine runs normal cycle then doesnt drain water. If I turn timer back to rinse cycle it will finish cycle and drain. Sometimes it will complete cycle and drain properly. Will a new timer fix this problem?
Answer Hello Eric. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the timer 21002199 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. If it is sticking and not advancing, you will need to replace the timer. Hope this helps.
How to remove timer knob? Took cover off seen 2slots at base of stem but could not find what releases the knob.
Answer Hello Loyd. You will need to remove the green pin in the back of the timer 21002199. With the knob pushed in, pull the pin out through the back of the timer with pliers. Once removed, the knob will come off. Hope this helps.
