I have a stacked Maytag Washer/Dryer, Model LSG7804AAE. During the "normal" wash cycle the washer will stop after it drains the the water from the sudsy wash phase, but before starting the rinse phase. Manually advancing the timer one "click" causes the rinse cycle to start. It completes as expected. This week it developed the additional glitch that it won't advance out of the spin mode of the wash phase. In this mode, it will spin until the timer is advanced one "click." It sometimes gets stuck at this point as mentioned above I'm suspecting the timer is going out, but wanted an opinion of someone with more experience before I drop the money to buy a timer. Is there another possibility, or is my timer running out of time? Thank you,

Unit was in storage for years, and has been in service for years. Washer stopped dead. Replaced lid switches. Didn't work til I tried starting washer while dryer was running, then washer would start. Got load going, but it stopped at rinse cycle, full of water. Now I can't get the washer to start, but hear some little clicks. Wonder if I should try replacing washer timer? Rather frustrating; not sure if lid switches needed to be replaced. It's been a reliable unit up until now. Thanks, Doug

MY LSE7804ACE washer has started leaking. I pulled the front off & set it up for a 12 minute wash. It fills, agitates about 2 minutes, then begins spinning, then spraying more water. Think this is a timer issue, not sure. Need a part number. Checked the hoses - no leaks replaced the seals last year Any help would be appreciated, Karen

Washer runs on warm and hot. Nothing on the cold setting. With warm, washer runs through the wash cycle then stops on the rinse cycle and just hums. I replaced the Water Fill Valve thinking it might do the trick. No good. Lid switch is good.Fuse is good. Could this be a Timer Problem? Before I order one I'd like to be sure.
