The lid switch checked ok.Still will not spin or agitate
Answer Hello Wynton. If the lid switch is good, and is working properly when the lid is closed, you will need to test for power coming to the motor assembly. If there is power there, and the motor does not run, you will need to replace the motor assembly on the unit.
Will not agitate, spin. Will fill but not empty.Failed with no prewarning. Any suggestions?
Answer Hello Wynton. You need to check and make sure the lid switch assembly 22001682 is not bad on the unit. If so, it will cause the issues you are having with the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
On normal wash cycle, won't agitate, will fill, and spin. Seems to function ok on perma press and delicate cycle.
I think i need a new timer??
Answer Hello Sean. Yes, it sounds like the timer is the problem with your unit. If it works on the other cycles, but not on normal, then the timer is bad. Hope this helps.
