Hello, it appears that my timer needs to be replaced on my machine. It works in delicate but not the other cycles. The machine will fill with water on the other cycles, put it wont agitate or spin the water out. On delicate, works just fine. I found the timer I need, but most of the videos I have seen on how to take the knob off look a bit different than the model I have. How does the knob come off for this model? I will be ordering that part asap!

I have a Maytag LAT8415AAE that works at different parts of different cycles. In "Regular" mode it will fill, but not agitate. Timer keeps advancing, then it spins and drains at last spin cycle. In "perm press" it filled, did nothing for first part, then spun and drained, then filled, and agitated during cool down rinse, then didn't spin and drain, moved to final rinse, no fill b/c it didn't drain, was already full of water, agitated then spun & drained until OFF. On "delicates"; filled and started to agitate, then stopped, didn't spin and drain, then agitated a little later, then spun and drained until off. I checked lid switch and water fill switch both OHM without washer plugged in then with voltage to ground. Also checked motor terminals. All seemed fine.
