My timer say 2083380 this timer is 22002715. Are they applicable to each other? If I replace my 2083380 with 22002715, will it be successful?

My washer will not fill or run on any of the 3 wash selections. When the timer switch is rotated click by click clockwise and then pulled out the washer will begin to operate when I reach the spin cycle on all three selections.

How do I remove the timer from the control panel? I have it exposed and the wires disconnected, but I am not sure how to remove it from the panel. Thanks!

My timer switch is definately bad. There are contacts fried on the little spring contact bars. Q's: 1-Is it possible to purchase a used working timer? 2-Or just the contact insert to replace mine in the timer switch? (This is a series of 23 spring bars with contacts at the ends to be switches.) 3-Or is there a way to replace the contact point on the little bar? (I actually doubt this, unless you have solderable contacts.) 4- Tangent-(I was wondering if the contact is a different material from the spring bar? The bar seems to be brass, but the contact is silvery, so I wondered if it was a harder material such as Tungstun?) 5-Other than that, how long does it take to order the timer switch? 310-379-2304

My washer timer I think is going bad, it fills, washes just fine however when the dial reaches the spin cycle the dial will keep turning but nothing happens. I have to manual turn the dial sometimes all the way around or maybe hit on another spin cycle that will start the spin. Is this the timer causing the issue?
