Original timer would keep rotating and would not shut the dryer off only way was to unplug it. New timer #33001730 will not rotate but manualy will shut dryer off in different locations. Put another new timer same part # does the same thing. Dryer works perfect except for this problem. Thanks

Buzzing sound was coming from what seemed to be the timer the last time I used the dryer. Now dryer will not start. I can tap on the timer and it starts to make the buzzing sound and tried to start briefly while I was tapping on it. Is the timer switch what's causing my problem?

Dryer stopped running, will not start in any cycle. Checked thermal overload by heating unit, start switch, dryer door switch, all OK. With door open and turning cycle switch, sounds like it tries to start for an instant. Moisture light comes on all but one cycle. All this while door is open. Help please.

Answer Hello Roy. Test for power to the motor when you try to start the dryer. If the dryer does not start, and there is power to the motor, you will need to replace the motor 33002795. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
